No prior experience is required. Our motorbike training in Bali is specially designed for complete beginners. Lessons begin in a safe open field, progress to quiet roads, and only move into real traffic when you are fully ready.
Please note that this course is not recommended for students who cannot ride a two-wheel bicycle (pedal bike for balance). If you can ride a two-wheel bicycle, most students need only 2 to 3 training sessions to become confident and comfortable riding a motorbike.
No. You do not need to bring your own motorbike or helmet. Bali Bike School provides a training motorbike and a clean, well-maintained helmet for every student. Our helmets are equipped with a communication system, allowing instructors to give clear and real-time instructions during scooter and motorbike training for a safer and more effective learning experience.
You do not need a driving license (SIM) to join our training sessions. Our motorbike lessons are conducted in a controlled and safe training environment, making them suitable for beginners without a license.
For students who plan to ride independently in Bali, we offer assistance with the official driving license (SIM) application process. This service helps ensure you can ride legally, safely, and with confidence while staying compliant with local regulations in Bali.
Yes, complimentary pick-up and drop-off are included. Depending on your location and availability, you will either be picked up directly by our instructor or arranged using a ride-hailing service such as Gojek for pick-up or drop-off.
Training sessions are conducted at the nearest suitable practice area, with a maximum travel time of up to 25 minutes from your location.
Yes, insurance is included for our training motorbikes. All training vehicles are covered by motorbike insurance, and we do not charge students for accidental damage to Bali Bike School training motorbikes during lessons.
However, intentional damage or misuse of the motorbike may result in additional charges.
Please note that personal or health insurance is not provided as part of our training program. Students are encouraged to arrange their own personal insurance for additional protection and peace of mind while training in Bali.
You may cancel or reschedule your scooter training session in Bali. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson may be subject to charges in accordance with our policy.
Yes, you may use your own scooter or motorbike for training. However, for beginner lessons, training will initially be conducted using our training motorbikes to minimize the risk of damage.
Once the instructor confirms that your riding skills meet the required standard, you may continue the lesson using your personal scooter or motorbike. Please note that Bali Bike School is not responsible for any damage to personal vehicles used during training sessions.
